Privacy Policy



Introduction

CCNNE is committed to the highest level of integrity in all our dealings with our employees, vendors and customers. This commitment extends to the protection of any information that can be personally identifiable.

We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of certain basic personal identifying information. Personal information is non-public information that is associated with a specific individual through one or more identifiers. Examples include driver’s license numbers, state ID numbers, credit or debit card numbers, passport numbers, health insurance ID numbers, alien resident numbers and Social Security numbers.

We do not collect information from individuals unless they provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly. We have adopted this Policy to guide how we and our affiliates use and protect such information.

Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to balance our legitimate business interests in collecting and using information with the reasonable expectation of privacy that may be held by those providing such information.

It is necessary for us to collect and store information to provide requested member and customer information and related services and for billing purposes. Many state laws require the collection and retention of some or all of such information.

We take commercially reasonable efforts to create and maintain firewalls, restricted access and other appropriate safeguards to ensure that to the extent we control information, it is used only as authorized by us and consistent with this Policy, and that information is not improperly altered or destroyed.

Our privacy protection practices help us maintain accurate, timely, complete and relevant information for our business purposes. Our communication system, software and database practices have been designed to aid us in supporting authenticity, integrity and confidentiality.

What we will and will not do with member and customer information:

We may use information to enroll and provide employees with benefits and services.

We may use this information to create and maintain a business relationship with customers.

This information may only be shared with entities directly affiliated with CCNNE for the express purpose of legitimate business necessity. This information will not be traded or sold.

Compliance with Law

We may disclose Member Information to law enforcement agencies, or may be required to disclose it during the discovery process in litigation, pursuant to a court order, or in compliance.

Privacy Protection Policy Communication

This Policy will be communicated to all employees and posted on the employee bulletin board at all CCNNE locations. It will be posted on the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England, Inc. website, www.ccnne.com.

Any changes to this policy will be included on this website so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone. This Policy was last updated on August 26, 2008.
